Are you a Professional Geologist in New York State or interested in becoming one?

The NYSCPG represents a growing community of geoscience professionals and students with hundreds of active members statewide. The council offers a chance to amplify your voice within the profession and an opportunity to direct the future of geology in New York State. The New York State Council of Professional Geologists (NYSCPG) representing Professional Geologists throughout NY State, would like to share with you several reasons to join NYSCPG:

  • Members receive early access and special pricing for events hosted by the NYSCPG throughout the year. NYSCPG provides a calendar of upcoming Continuing Education courses for the benefit of our members and the profession;

  • Members receive increased access to professional networking opportunities;

  • Members may participate in committees;

  • Members may participate in elections for officers and board of directors;

  • Members contribute to safeguarding the continuation of the profession of geology in NYS by participating in polls about the council’s stance on specific legislation;
