CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE APPROVAL
|
| Fee | Type Of Organization |
| $75 | Non-profit organizations, except as specified below |
| $150 | Commercial firms and individuals directly profiting from presenting course materials |
| $25 | Colleges, universities, affiliated, or other post-secondary academic institutions |

There will be a 50% surcharge fee for expedited course reviews.
The review fee for courses proposed for more than two PDHs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but shall not exceed the base rate specified above multiplied by the number of PDHs requested and divided by two (e.g., for an eight-hour course sponsored by a for-profit organization, the review fee shall not exceed $600).
The review fee covers each application. The applicant may present the course/activity more than once per approval period (one calendar year after date of approval); see the PDH Course Expiration and Renewal Process below.
Payment by credit card via NYSCPG website is preferred. If required, checks may be made payable to “NYSCPG” and mailed to 679 Plank Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Please notify us by emailing Executive Director John Nadeau at [email protected] prior to mailing payment.
Once payment is confirmed, applicant will receive a copy of the completed Continuing Education Instructor/Course Evaluation Form.
All courses expire one calendar year after the date of approval.
Expired PDH courses may be renewed provided course content has not substantially changed and the instructor(s) has/have not changed. If a course has substantially changed or the instructor(s) change, a full review and evaluation applies and will be subject to the fee schedule.
The review fee for expired PDH courses or those pending expiration before the next proposed course date will be $25 for up to two PDHs. The review fee for expired courses proposed for more than two PDHs will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Applicant or Course Sponsor will return a signed copy of the Continuing Education Provider Agreement to the NYSCPG Executive Director and/or NYSCPG Continuing Education Subcommittee (to be emailed to Executive Director John Nadeau at [email protected])
Once the course has been completed, the Course Sponsor will issue signed PDH certificates to attendees.
Applicant or Course Sponsor will submit a final attendance list and copies of all signed PDH certificates to the NYSCPG Executive Director and NYSCPG Continuing Education Subcommittee (to be emailed to Executive Director John Nadeau at [email protected]). The final attendance list should be provided in excel form and contain the following information:
